Types of call-to-actions supported in the Vungle SDK

Although ads served on the Vungle network are predominantly app-focused, we can also lead users to other types of experiences.

The following are the different ‘call to actions’ that Vungle has the ability to use:

  • App Store - leads the user to an app store to showcase an app which can lead to an install
  • Website URL - leads the user to a web page to showcase a product/server which can lead to a conversion (such as a sign-up to a service)

Store Presentation Styles

Although each platform has its own store to showcase apps, the way in which the store is presented to the user is different.

iOS

App Store

  • Takes user out of publisher app.

  • Pauses the ad when the user is viewing the app store.

  • Resumes the ad when the user returns to the publisher app.

StoreKit

  • Displays the App Store as a pop-up window which appears above the ad.

  • The user can directly install and open the app from inside the StoreKit window.

  • Pauses the ad when the user is viewing StoreKit.

  • Resumes the ad when the user closes StoreKit.

StoreKit Overlay

  • Appears as an overlay on top of the ad.

  • The ad does not pause when the overlay is visible on the screen.

  • The user can directly install and open the app from inside the ad.

  • Can be configured to be dismissible.

  • Takes user out of publisher app.

  • Pauses the ad when the user is viewing the app store.

  • Resumes the ad when the user returns to the publisher app.

Amazon
